Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026 · Version 1.0
Please read these terms before using Asset Alert. By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by them.
1. What Asset Alert is
Asset Alert (“the service”, “we”, “us”) is a crypto setup security health tool. It allows users to describe their wallets, exchanges, and DeFi platforms on a visual canvas and receive a scored assessment of their security posture across three pillars: hygiene, asset distribution, and platform risk.
Asset Alert is operated by Ricardo Broeders, based in the Netherlands.
2. Not financial, investment, or legal advice
Important disclaimer
Nothing on Asset Alert constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Health scores, risk ratings, and recommendations are informational only and are not a substitute for professional advice tailored to your specific circumstances.
Scores and assessments are based on general security principles and publicly available information. They do not account for your personal financial situation, investment objectives, or risk tolerance.
You should not make financial decisions based solely on information from Asset Alert. We are not liable for any losses arising from actions taken or not taken based on our scoring or recommendations.
3. Read-only by design — no keys, no connection
Asset Alert does not connect to your wallets. We do not request or store private keys, seed phrases, API keys, or OAuth tokens to any exchange or blockchain account. We never have, and it is not technically possible through our interface.
All platform data you enter (names, types, approximate values) is provided voluntarily and stored descriptively, not linked to any live account or on-chain identity.
4. Data and privacy
Canvas data you create while authenticated is stored in a Supabase-hosted database under your user account. Unauthenticated data is stored in your browser's local storage only.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes. Canvas data may be processed by our infrastructure providers (Vercel, Supabase) in accordance with their data processing agreements.
If you share a setup publicly using the “Share” feature, the shared snapshot becomes publicly accessible via a unique URL. It contains only the platform configuration you chose to share — not your account identity.
You can delete your account and associated data by contacting us at hello@assetalert.dev.
5. Accuracy of information
Platform incident data, security advisories, and threat intelligence shown in Asset Alert are sourced from public disclosures and our own research. We aim to keep this information accurate and current, but we make no warranties — express or implied — about its completeness, accuracy, or timeliness.
Health scores are calculated algorithmically based on inputs you provide and data we have on file. They are a heuristic, not a guarantee. A high score does not mean your assets are safe; a low score does not mean a loss is imminent.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Asset Alert and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of cryptocurrency, financial loss, or data loss, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to conduct illegal activity
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or disrupt the service
- Submit false or misleading information intended to manipulate scores
- Use the API or MCP integration to generate misleading security reports for third parties without adequate disclosure
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms without prior notice.
8. Third-party integrations
Asset Alert provides an API and MCP (Model Context Protocol) integration for developers and AI agents. Use of these integrations is subject to these terms. We are not responsible for how third-party applications or AI tools present or act on information returned by our API.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be noted with a new version date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
